Cold Season
Does your child have a cold?

Did you know that children under two years can catch 8–10 colds a year? Older children have an average of four upper respiratory infections every year. It's totally normal — upper respiratory infections are some of the most common bugs kids pick up in child care and school!
- A few good reminders:
- Green or yellow snot doesn't mean your child is "more sick" or needs antibiotics
- Handwashing + coughing into an elbow are still the best defenses
- Kids with a simple cold usually don't need to be excluded from school or daycare
- Fresh air and good ventilation help cut down on spread indoors
When in doubt, our team is always here to help you sort out a cold from something more!
